In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy® Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant GREG DAVIES (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant ALEX HORNE (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Taskmaster started out as a critically acclaimed live show, devised by 2014 Foster’s Comedy Award nominee ALEX HORNE, which ran at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 and 2011. It is now an award-winning TV series, hit international format and growing brand.

Taskmaster was the no.1 entertainment show on Dave (UKTV) for nine seasons and then moved to Channel 4 in 2020 as part of a landmark six season deal. Season 10 was Channel 4’s best performing new entertainment show of 2020 and won the 9pm slot for 16-34 year olds.
