Five comedians. One all-powerful Taskmaster. Endless ingenious challenges. One Champion. Your time starts...now!

THE FORMAT

Taskmaster is the BAFTA-winning and Emmy® Award-nominated format where five fearless comedians compete across a series of absurd, ingenious, and hilarious tasks — all for the honour of becoming the Taskmaster Champion.

In every episode the comedic contestants must undertake five tasks drawn from a library of thousands. These challenges are designed to test their wit, creativity and lateral thinking. They can range from making short films and creating works of art to physical feats, problem-solving puzzles and spectacular acts of ingenuity. With their own personal possessions up for grabs, the contestants have everything to play for, especially their dignity.

Under the ever-critical eye of the Taskmaster and the meticulous record-keeping of their loyal Taskmaster’s Assistant, contestants face off in rounds that push them to the limits of their imagination. Points are awarded (and taken away) at the Taskmaster’s whim — and their word is always final. Never before have you seen comedians so competitive, inventive and mischievous.
